This place may have been nice 15 years ago but it’s now in a state of disrepair, the staff are disinterested, and general maintenance is lacking in all areas...
You’ve worked really hard to go on holiday, just book somewhere else and don’t put yourself through this!!
Flight times were good, and transfer is 30 minutes, a little bumpy but better than when we’ve had two hours!
We took a post office money card with Euro on it which was great, but the airport doesn’t take much card especialy for water.
Few minor issues with the room such as safe/air con which once reported via a TUI rep were sorted.
The downside was there is no ironing board or iron and none can be requested, really difficult with linen shirts and the only option is their expensive laundry service, take a travel iron!
Having the wristbands colour coded the children loved being able to order their own drink.
Whilst there is enough sunbeds people do have a habit of getting up at 5am to get a location to suit and by week two we were doing the same at 6am to make life easier.
One meal per week included at the Kulinarium à la carte restaurant, for those staying in the adults-only section. Selected imported, local alcohol and soft drinks, 24 hours a day. I am here right now, been here 4 days and my god I wish we could just go home..goes from bad to worse every single day :-( You will be put in a small, dark, grim room with damaged furniture and you’re expected to be grateful..went to reception to complain and the guy was not even remotely surprised and just moved us immediately, it felt like just part of his job because they know the rooms are crap.
We requested a ground floor which was upheld, and it’s only 3 storeys maximum so not a huge tower block.
The cats are cute, however there are a huge number and if you leave anything out on the balcony overnight prepare to have muddy paw prints on EVERYTHING and it burst our lilo so keep your inflatables indoors at night and take some travel wash.
There was plenty of bottle of waters left both in the room and the mini fridge to use but the one let down for a 5 star resort is no mini bar like most of its sister hotels both on the island and elsewhere.
We could get drinks and take them back but a few beers/wine in the room would have been that little extra.
Complimentary meal was really nice, breakfast on the way out for all 4 was nice and return meal of cottage pie for kids and roast for us was great with lots of trimmings (chocolate/pudding/crackers etc).
