We have has performed many accurate and precise measurements of 210Pb and 210Po on standard reference materials (SRMs) frm the International Atomic Energy Association. These procedures have been used to analyze 210Pb iin cores from all over the globe: northern and southern hemisphere.
These SRM measurements agree with the international consensus values and demonstrate that our measurements are consistent with other laboratories. These cores have come from a diversity of different environments; from the Canadian Arctic, boreal forests, Antarctica, New Zealand, China, plains of America, to the high Andes Mountains.

We have also applied this technique to lavas collected after suspected submarine eruptions at NW Rota-1 seamount, the Northeast Lau Spreading Center, Axial Seamount (project underway), the 2005-06 eruption at 9° 50'N and 2004 eruption 10° 45'N on the EPR, the Gorda Ridge, Boomerang Caldera (near South East Indian Ridge), and the Loihi Eruption in Aug 1996.
